Hello Greenzoners! Lemon is known to be a sour fruit of unpleasant taste.
But did you know how many interesting things can we do with a single lemon? 😉
1. Slice a lemon and put it in your fridge. After that, toss the slices into the glass of water (or bottle) – it will increase the amount of vitamin C that will improve your immune system and help you stay healthy.
2. Feeling sad or tired? Put your fingernail in the lemon, and then, take a long sniff. The lemon’s aroma has anti-depressant abilities and will give you a little energy. If it’s not enough, try to bite it! It may seem a little reckless, but should work. 😉
3. Make a lemonade! Squeeze 8 lemons into a gallon jar, then add 3/4 cup of sugar. Stir a little, and add several ice cubes and fill it all with water. Now you have great refreshment for hot, summer days.
4. Do you like fish? Cut a lemon into thin slices and lay it on the fish fillet after seasoning it with salt and pepper.Remember that it may not go well with every type of fish.
5. If your elbows are dry, with dark spots and dead skin falling off, slice the lemon in half, and put your elbow in each side for 10 minutes. That will cure your elbows’ problems.
6. Feeling sick? Take a glass (or a mug), fill it with hot water, add freshly squeezed lemon juice with honey. It’s a great remedy for cough and throat ache.
