Hello Greenzoners, do you use ecological, reusable bags? 😉

The study shows that those bags are not always so “eco” as they might appear to be. It was proven that some of them also can cause harm to the environment and contain dangerous bacteria. Recently, using those bags became a fashion, not an ecological habit.
People seem to be unaware of the fact, that those bags may contain lead – which is harmful for examples. Also, if they are not washed regularly – the bacteria inside can, and will accumulate.

Yet still it is not a good idea to use classic plastic bags, so the choice of reusable ones might be the “lesser evil”.
But, what is important, very clever thing was said about reusable bags – “It’s not a bag that pollutes, it’s its content”. So, basically, the packagings of things we buy in markets. 😉
