Unusual shape of a shell, isn’t it? That’s why the animal you see here is named Peanut – and no, it’s not a name of a species. The shell disfigurement is the cause of littering the oceans – when turtle was still very young, he got wrapped by plastic 6-pack packaging.
Well, who would’ve believed? Two ecological groups protesting against each other. 😉
Usually the protesters are against building some factory or shopping center in a forest, where it can harm wildlife.
This time however, the conflict is much more interesting: it’s ecologists versus ecologists. 😉

Hello Greenzoners! As you have already probably heard, on 15 February, a meteor impacted on Earth’s surface, exploding above Russian city of Chelyabinsk, in Ural region.
The explosion injured over 1,200 residents of the city by blast shockwave which was caused by 10,000-ton fireball. (more…)
